Brilliant. I rewatched the PT recently and the relevance of the story slapped me in the face this time. People love to shit on the prequels, but Lucas laid out a fantastic story that's revealing itself as a very intentional cautionary tale for the United States. I mean, we already knew that, considering the influence of 9/11, the Bush administration, and the GWoT on the PT, but now we're actually heading towards living out the final act. 😬
