Ring of attunement
Requires attunement
Provides one attunement slot.

I thought Chris Perkins said "I gave them a cloak that had no other function but to turn into a pillow on command." I thought it was brilliant. The actual quote is cool too, but a sweet pillow in the underdark would be pretty bamf.

Amulet of Outfits: Temporarily changes the color and style of a set of fine clothing being worn with this amulet (the amulet itself always matches the worn outfit). Never be caught matching another noble at a ball or feast again!

I like that they're including this for some good examples of magic items you can put in the back ground

Wil Wheaton desperately needs the Clockwork amulet lol, he might actually be able to succeed a check now and then.

That clockwork amulet actually sounds pretty useful, even at 1/day.

I like the idea of a magical economy. Non-combat, relatively low-power items like these are exactly the sort of thing I'd expect the average citizen of a magical world to be purchasing from the local spellcrafter. This alone makes me excited for the book.

These sound like a BLAST. In high magic settings, you could use them as trinkets for characters and give low-level characters something fun beyond the mundane gear. I'm totally using this for my Hombrew-Ebberon game...

I love that Chris wears a ball cap properly, with the bill actually bent to fit the head.

So Much Flavor!
I'm glad they're meant to be power-neutral.

I would pay good money for an entire book that is only common magical items that have little to no real power creep

I like magic items with a net neutral value. I made "Boots of Relentless Speed" which are boots that double your movespeed, but you must always use your full movespeed/can never not being sprinting/running

Man, now I want a cloak of billowing in my game.

Thank you!! I really wanted items like these for high magic areas without giving commoners amazing abilities

lol i now want to create an artificer character whose life goal is to make all common magic items.

These items sound like so much fun. Great for beginner characters especially, makes it easier and more enticing to role play and really get into your character.

Cloak of Billowing secondary effect: Remain motionless in strong winds.
