You have a metronome for an arm. I knew it.

I was blown away by this technique when I first saw you play it!... and I still am. Very generous share professor, Cheers!

For the first time in a long time of trying this technique I just had a breakthrough. I can see from this angle that your forearm is moving up while your wrist is working separately to strum and because your forearm is moving up while this is happening, you’re able to move across different strings during the strum really quickly. Thank you Tomo 😊

I've always wondered how you do that whenever I watch your videos... thanks for this sir Tomo!

Guitar Wisdom Student here. I've always wandered how you did that! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for sharing this. I can't wait to practice this technique. It's one of those things that's hard to teach without a good teacher who knows what to show. It seems like one of those tricky things that looks easier than it is to do so I'll take my time.

A lot of people neglect the right hand but it can be one of the most useful tools, love seeing techniques like that.

This has been very helpful as I've been working on re-calibrating my right-hand technique as my hands (and arms) have significantly grown since the last time I specifically worked on my technique. I find it difficult to have the same smooth picking motion while standing up so that's something I'm working on right now!
Thanks for the video master Tomo!

For me, it's starting the short rake with an upstroke. This is the first time I've noticed that, and my first try this way is the closest I've got to producing the same a big margin! Thanks again, Tomo!

Reminds me of the Karnatic rhythms used by John McLaughlin’s group Shakti.
Great technique! Thank you. 🙏🏻

Wow thanks !!! I haven’t seen a video showing slowly your fast muted triplet sort of thing !
Next video could be a lesson on fast Hendrix rythm like in killing floor, machine gun and lover man ?

I tried learning your triplet strumming but couldn't get it to be fast enough. But after tons of trial and error, I finally realized that you don't have to strum all the strings for the effect to work, strumming one or two strings at the bottom is just fine, it'll sound the same!

That is so bouncy, thanks for sharing this technique!

From this angle, I see your pick attack is a lot more than I thought it would be. When I go this fast, I usually switch to the side of the pick, but I doesn't sound as "bouncy". I think I need to work on keeping my pick strumming depth consistent to avoid getting stuck between strings while leaving my wrist looser to "float".
