Kijana - 2023 Anthem Silver Award Winner!

The Anthem Awards honors the purpose & mission-driven work of people, companies and organizations worldwide. By amplifying the voices that spark global change, Anthem is defining a new benchmark for impactful work that inspires others to take action in their own communities.

Anthem's Silver Award in Community Engagement was bestowed on Kijana for its efforts related to its unique Care, Share and Explore Program.
Kijana developed a unique environmental education program, entitled Care, Share, and Explore, at our organization's inaugural Kijana Global Innovation School. The program infuses a care for the environment into learning by taking students out on exploratory expeditions and infusing the learning into the curriculum, along with planting trees in numerous school communities, and much more. We collaborated with many schools, and NGO's and members of the international community.
