Thank you very much for I have Addison’s disease and they said my sodium was very low danger. Slow one they put me on IV now I’m home and I’m trying to drink water with salt to make sure I have plenty of salt. It’s very hard to understand exactly how much to drink.

That was very helpful. I have chronic hyponatremia at about 130. I was very discouraged to learn this week that it’s not improving and baffled because I’m on two diuretics which I think is probably more than I need to be taking. I finally decided just to do the best job I can in watching my fluid intake and eating a healthy diet and see if it changes. If not, it’s time for my endocrinologist to lower the amount of diuretics she’s prescribed. I’ve watched several videos on hyponatremia this was by far the easiest to understand.

I really like that doctor he’s really good at explaining thing!! My dad has unbearable thirst! Nearly two days He’s 85 got inflamed stomach ulsers. On lots of tabs like omeprozal plus prostate tabs his sodium was 127 he’s been left to suffer no sleep and in distress. Hospital sent him home. Have no idea how to help him his ankles have swollen too.

To be watched Is all hypo/hyper amts of other substances all related to water? When I have tests I see just a number of amt of the element. So, do I just record amt of water / bodily reactions to know what is happening.

I have been told I have stage 4 CKD because my GFR is 45. I'm so confused. One book tells me it's Stage 4, another tells me its Stage 3. One book says I can eat beans, another tells me no, because of the oxalates. What plant based protein can I eat? What are the answers?

Can Immunosuppresants like tacrolimus, prednisolone, azathioprine cause hyponatremia?
