I once listened to a guy give a whole laundry list of what type of woman he was looking for. I asked him, "What type of man is SHE looking for and are you it?". WELL he called me all kinds of names you can't repeat in pleasant company. It's not that they don't know what they are inside, it's that they want the ability to be special enough to not need to do the work to be worthy of that kind of blessing. What irks me is how these men never flip the mirror inward and think about how to make themselves worthy of the women they claim to want. They have a problem in that they refuse to accept that they’re not as good as they think they are. Why would a good woman want them when they can’t contribute anything to the peace, stability and goodness that they (the women) value? This is also why I always push back whenever people bring up in conversation that there are little too few good women out there. Good women definitely exist, but a lot of the men with these mindsets don’t want them. They ignore them (or mistreat them) in favor of the BBLs, as you so perfectly put it, whom they view as having more value. And that’s a serious issue.

It's entitlement. People who operate like this believe that they are OWED. the best partner.. Without realising that they don't qualify for the best because of their awful lifestyles.
