great aquarium ... i have been doing dirted aquarium for over 8 months now and they are the best .... couple advices though ... do not disturb the substrate in any way as you will make it unstable very very fast ... add 2 male guppy endlers ( perferably fry if you have as they are so small ) ... they will control all the copepods, algea that shrimp cannot eat and the detritus worms, hydras and other micro stuff living there keeping it in pristine condition for a shrimp farm ... if you want more information on that i am happy to share to you via PM

I have eco complete mixed with floramax for my dirt cap. Question how long are you running the lights on this tank per day (photo-period)?

I tried the no filter heavily planted method, and now I have algae bloom and hair algae. What have I done wrong? Please help me. 😢😭
