Making a Strawberry-Powered Aquarium (With No Filter)

Показать описание
Homegrown strawberries taste sweeter when you don't have to remember to water them. This time I setup a small, cube ecosystem using an old, used aquarium I found for free on Marketplace. After ripping out the factory filter, I let it develop its own biological one, complete with aquaponic strawberries.

Follow along as the fish tank develops the natural way; with no filter, and no co2 injection.
Happy to answer questions in the comments :)

Dude has only three videos on his channel and already makes aquariums better than most aquarium hobbyists on this platform.

Can I just say, I’m a professional fish enthusiast. Have been for 20years now. Starting young with my grandpa that owned 2 stores.
This dudes vids are absolutely pristine.
The work, the heart and soul, the intelligence and articulation, and especially the film work.
I hope this stays on yt for ever bc I will refer to this till I die.

I love the goofy sound effects used throughout these videos, they add a lot of humor along with the witty narration! This channel is golden and deserves more love than it gets!

I really love how you narrated and edited this! The edits and sound effects were charming but not overly flashy or distracting; your narrative tone is very pleasant, a nice meandering manner that sets a nice tone for the video. I'm new to aquascaping and am going to start adding creatures eventually, so I've watched a lot of videos to learn. This one is definitely my favorite. I can't wait to see what else you get up to!

I have no idea who you are but your exactly what the fish industry needed. Love this fun content! And I love that you mentioned the process of acquiring the tank and that you don’t have to drop a bunch of money to start! This makes the hobby so accessible. I see a whole generation of fish keepers being inspired by your cool videos!

If anyone owns house plants or grows veg and owns an aquarium then you need to water you plants with the water when you do a water change. It's an incredible natural fertilizer! Love this video, subscribed and can't wait for more videos

Way cool dude! I used to grow tomatoes, cucumbers and lettuce with fish water from a Tilapia tank. And about 8:38 three months collected the larger fish.

I absolutely loved the calm, relaxing editing style that is so hard to find nowadays. This whole video was amazing.

I wondered why the heck this was reccomended to me, now I'm glad it was! I loved the little munches and sound effects, the way you showed how the branch would divide the tank, and how casually informational this was. Never watched a video about fishtanks before this one.
