Only downside is it’s not true HDMI. A Digital to Digital mod is in the works, but it will be a much more complex install. Til then using Component plugged into the RetroTinks 5X is the way to go.

When I wanna make holes for HDMIs I use a broken hdmi, heat the tip and melt a perfect hdmi shaped slot 👍🏼 ( if you do it from the outside - in, you’ll get good results)

With solutions now almost here like the RetroGem, doing this is not necessary anymore but serves a cool video to showcase what people can do when they really want that HDMI output.

Unfortunately most adapters like these don’t know how to handle PS1 games on PS2 so they make not work for playing them.

literally just the standard adapter soldered for no reason, why not do the actual mod and upscale, its not true hdmi otherwise
