I don't think people realise that not including voice chat, messaging, achievements etc, in the OS was a very conscious and deliberate decision on the part of Nintendo and has contributed to them winning this generation. Those features suck and the mass market doesn't care about them or want them. It's only a vocal minority of more hardcore gamers who care.

I just hope we get music in the system menu and/or at least music for the eShop. That music gave so much personality to older Nintendo consoles and that’s not to say that the Switch doesn’t have a personality but it would be even more legendary in the eyes of gamers if it had music that played on the system menu, settings and on the eShop

I would definitely like an improved OS on the next Nintendo. As well as improved analog controllers. I would also like to see a more robust and present Amiibo app / interface/ tracking etc, as well as a built in robust achievement system. I‘d also like to see a more robust Nintendo account management system. Finally, more customization of features, like being able to check box to never display warnings etc again.

There should definitely be ALL backwards compatibility options, including physical with Switch carts and all prior digital purchases should be redownloadable.

I don't know about OLED, but Walmart has deals on the regular switch. I don't spend extra money on OLED because I always play docked.

I personally think that we will get the 1st official announcement for the switch successor will be sometime in either February or March and then it will launch for holiday 2025.

I don’t see how a new OLED bundle would affect a reveal, or vice versa. So I’m still somewhat confident in a reveal this month. And that and Echoes of Wisdom aren’t the only things; we’re also gonna see the IPhone 16 and PS5 Pro this month.

If I have to predict Nintendo's plans, I think well will get a new Nintendo Switch (OLED Model) bundle this month and then a Nintendo Switch successor announsment in October. But I'm not complaining if the console gets revealed this month.

To be honest I don't care when the successor to the Nintendo Switch is going to be reveald. I can wait to October if thats the case, or even November.

All I know is that we just have to be patient, wait and see what Nintendo's up to.
