He didn't die he watched the movie. If you can remember Lucius Fox sees that the autopilot was fixed on the bat. Then he asks who fixed it he says it was Bruce Wayne.

Because Robin took over. Bruce saw this as a moment for Batman to redeem himself. Dying to save the city completed the Batman’s journey; he became legend. With Robin taking the reigns, that legend will only solidify, allowing Bruce to finally have what he always wanted. Except, instead of Rachel, he had Selena. It’s the perfect ending.

Batman didn't died, he fixed the bat signal, he fixed the auto pilot (6 month ago before his death), he gave address to bat cave to the Robin, he gave necklace to Catwoman which she was wearing in the end in italy.
Also, when he was taking taking bomb away all inside shots of 'Bat' plane were showing a very deep details of building shadows

Bruce faked his death to get out of Gothum as Gordan might figured out that Bruce was Batman. And if he was dead the news of fixing the autopilot doesn't make any sense. So the conclusion is "Batman Died But Bruce Wayne Survived To fulfill Alfred's dream."

Because he's Bruce's butler and surrogate dad, he knows how Bruce thinks and when it's Bruce's lunchtime.

He didn't die. It couldn't be more obvious without becoming cheesy. He also announces the fact he is alive to those who know his true identity.

Fox knows he is alive because he fixed the autopilot 6 months previous. He then still pretends that it isn't fixed when he retrieves the The Bat from the rooftop.

After his supposed 'death' he lets Gordon know he is alive by fixing the Bat Signal.

He provides 'Robin' with the location of the Batcave.

Selena knows he is alive because he is banging her most nights.

It also says the pearls are missing, Selena is wearing them on the restaurant where Bruce fulfills Alfred's wish of seeing him moved on and happy.

More subtly, when the bomb is flown out to sea, if you look at Batman in those 'final moments', repetitive shadows quickly move over his mask - like those from skyscrapers. There are no shadows like that over the ocean. Like the Batmobile, there is likely an escape pod to explain how he isn't in the main body of The Bat.

Bruce lives. No doubt about it...and so he should!

I believe that he survived. He had been messing around with the craft called the bat ! He already had another batcave ready. In the comics he did fake his death and started training people and teaching people his secrets especially Robin!

He is alive, read the comments first and then read this, he was listening to Alfred when he was saying that he hoped to see bat at a cafe, at this moment when Alfred sees him, he knows that Batman is alive and that he (Alfred) has succeeded

The original Batman die, but Bruce didn’t. And with keeping his secret, he decided to start over. A new life where Alfred dream he would see him one day.
This is confirmed by the movie itself when fox realizes the auto pilot is already fixed.Knowing that Bruce is a live somewhere. The best part about the surprise is that at first, I thought it was his imagination to until I realized I was Selena. He never once imagine that girl wanting a restart. So it only made sense that what Alfred saw was real.

In 2014, in an interview, Bale said that the scene of Bruce, Selina and Alfred in Italy was not a dream, which means Batman did not die in the bomb explosion. Batman managed to fix the auto pilot system at the last minute

It's freaking Batman... I am not about to go into detail about the countless impossible scenarios in which by all rights he should have died and some how survived. Give the man some credit!

Nobody is able to withstand the nuclear explosion of the core reactor as depicted in the movie. The core reactor possessed enough power to annihilate the entire city, raising the question: Is Batman still alive after that? Well, the answer is yes, considering Alfred sees Bruce enjoying a date with Selina Kyle, both of which managed to start a new life after Bruce wiped Selina's slate clean by removing her criminal records. They share a nod of recognition and go presumably go their separate ways.
Despite suggestions from fans that this scene could be Alfred's dream of seeing Bruce alive while he is actually dead, both the movie's director, Christopher Nolan, and Batman's actor, ~Christian Bale, have confirmed that Bruce is indeed alive~ and has retired from his life as a masked vigilante, fulfilling Alfred's long-held wish. However, it remains unknown how Batman managed to escape the blast or whether he was even present at the time, as Lucius Fox learns that The Bat's (Batman's Aircraft) autopilot was indeed functioning.
This proves that ~BRUCE WAYNE IS ALIVE~
