As a Malaysian kid, I always passed by a seafood restaurant of a small shopping complex whenever I walked to primary school. I remember seeing coconut crabs in a cage and asking my dad about it. Two weeks later, I see a giant hole in the cage and spotting a coconut crab making a run for it (albeit very slowly) down the corridor.

That was the first time I was baffled beyond comprehension.

There are bones and some other evidence it could have been her, but it's never proved to be true.

The part about Amelia is inaccurate. Those bones were analyzed and declared to be that of a male that was shorter than her and 10 years older than she was. The skeleton had also been there before her flight even took place

Coconut crabs = Hermit crabs that ate the super mushrooms from mario.

Everything evolves into crab. Now coconuts are even joining in.

Amelia Earhart’s body was never found, they thought the skeleton belonged to her but it didn’t and no remains of her or her copilot were ever found. The remains of the plane that they were flying in was found in the mid to late 2010’s, but it was far from where they found the remains that you mentioned.

Ah yes, the crabs broke her bones, definitely not the plane crash😂

During the time of the napoleonic wars english sailors called them robber crabs as they kept stealing from their tents when camped on shore, the crabs even stole pots and pans.

I immediately remember a quote that goes along like this
"We never see a monster because every time we found one we classify them as animals"

Video went from 'hermit crabs are cute' to 'was likely eaten by one' in less than a minute

you had a pretty informative video going there and then just went completely off the rails with Earhart.

I love how a creature can pose a threat to a bunch of other animals but a human can pick it up at a specific point and it's completely immobilized lol
