Our first VAN LIFE experience! A HUGE road trip to Europe!

Our first van life experience in Custard! We finally got on the road and had a taste of the life we had always been dreaming of in our very first van conversion. We headed to France via the Eurotunnel le Shuttle and saw some pretty amazing places. Welcome to our brand new series!

Hello. I loved this. I watch your newer videos that are so slick and where your van is immaculate and has everything but to be at the beginning is great. I have just got a 1970 VW Campervan (and I am a pensioner) and it has nothing and I have no storage, water, kitchen or electricity. This helps me see that things can get done slowly. I will watch on from here and see how you progress. You both make me laugh so much.

Thanks for sharing bus remodel...feel is nice treat to overstays and luggage option. Also very good to help people see advantage to e work and slow lifestyle. Could reduce work hours to get more out of time for your plans/ home tasks.

Feel better option is looking into boat blackwater treatment, turns it into fresh water. Could also invest then in vortex vac raritan flush toilet and not feel so uneasy about many guest using self contained one. Or for large family spirit.

Storms cause alot of "fertilizer" blooms in waterways because of overwash from sewage treatment plants. Raritan msd may be option overseas from USA, based in New Jersey I think...

I like idea of leaning towards more "rest" for individual to.... upgrade society infrastructure yourself
Invest lifestyle to add treated "fresh water" to dump station. Could get a power pump to help make the line go uphill and faster too.

Lot of thought on something to ignore but helps protect seagrasses and nursery areas for fish sea life.

I like what you did to the bus, excellent job, we did the same trip but in something, smaller, a lot smaller, a Fiat Doblo, not the best, but fun. Now we have a Vivaro self build and that's great, now into our 4th year, just waiting for the world to wake up from this nightmare and then we are off again from our base in Portugal.

I refreshing video from the usual stuff and that bus, yeah a real nice job hope you enjoy it for many trips.

I seen these Vario 814 or 614 go well over 1 million km, body suffers a bit but mechanics are sound
