I love my alocasia dragon scale. Mine lives in a cloche with bright indirect light and I keep the humidity around 80%. This one doesn't like to stay moist all the time. It likes to dry out a little.

The hubs brought me home a Polly about a month ago and, of course my first thought was “Great, he bought me some spider mites”. I had some systemic houseplant control granules that I had been too nervous to use on my babies and decided to use them on the Polly (bc I’m not an Alocasia gal either). They have not hurt the plant at all! She’s thriving and I’m not nearly as worried about creepy crawlies. It might be something you’d like to try on the dragon scale.

Such a nice find! I'm not that big on alocasia myself normally - the most I've been tempted so far has been with a Black Velvet - but if a dragonscale showed up I would probably drop a reasonable amount on one immediately. That vein relief is so pretty.
