I really appreciate the person who made this video. No better can be done. This is just best. I learned more in watching this 5 min video than I ever learned in my 2 hours of reading EAR. Thank you so much.

some important points :-
1-the membranous sacs in the vestibular portion of inner ear are UTRICLE and SACCULE which both contain endolymph .

2- scala vestibuli and scala tympani contain perilymph while scala media contain endolymph .

3-(reissner's membrane) separates scala vestibuli and scala media and doesn't contain hair cells or produce action potential .

4-basilar membrane separates scala media from scala tympani which contains hair cells and produces action potential.

5- stapes is attached to oval window on the vestibule of inner ear .

I'm so thankful to the people who made it. The vestibular system is hard to understand only by the text, so this animation was very helpful to me. Keep going, fellows!

Great graphics and articulate commentary - a more in-depth interpretation of actual "transduction" would be super, especially if done by the same people who did this excellent video.

very well explained. Few topics cannot be understood by just reading books

After watching this video and seeing how amazingly we are made, i was wrong to think that all this was made by chance.

great video. comprehensive over a short time. only one suggestion. when the tympanic membrane pushes the handle of the malleus medially, the head (of the malleus) moves laterally (like a lever, just as the movie illustrates). the problem is that the incus does not move as a lever. so when the head of the malleus pulls the body of the incus laterally, the long process of the incus pulls the stapes latterly as well. it is counterintuitive, but the waves pushing on the tympanic membrane actually cause the stapes to pull, or tilt away from the oval window. i seriously doubt this detail is of any importance to most students, but i thought the designer should know for the sake of the next edition. on a positive note my lengthy awkward explanation is a valuable contrast to the efficient and effective nature of good graphic communication. thank you.
