The pinna is not an organ for funnelling sounds to the inner ear, but an organ to infuse binaural information TO the sounds as it enters the canal.

11th grader here! Just yesterday i finished the resting potential, action potential, and all the fun stuff that happens ( synapses, the transmission of a nerve along the axon, ranvier nodes etc. )

And now we're starting with receptors and the first chapters are for mechanoreceptors and photoreceptors. Got a long ass way to go 🫡
