In Europe, it's 800 euros without a disc drive and vertical stand... They are basically asking us to dish out 1000$ for PS5 Pro in Europe. Sony has completely lost it! 😂

There's that old saying, something something, "Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it." Sony absolutely dominated in the PS2 era, spanking the GameCube and even driving Sega out of the console hardware business. Then we got the joke of a hubris-bloated launch of the PS3. Then, Microsoft utterly crapped the bed with the Xbox1, leading the PS4 to once again dominate the console landscape. Now? Ps5 is what, four years in, with barely that many actual true exclusives, and now, a $700 digital only console "upgrade" with barely noticeable "improvements", that will have even fewer exclusives? History certainly seems to be repeating itself.

As someone who is still on the PS4 Pro and was waiting on the PS5 Pro to upgrade, Sony has lost their mind. $700 wouldn't be as bad if the PS5 Pro actually came with a disc drive and the stand. $700 at this point you might as well wait for the PS6. I hope this console fails so Sony can stop pushing disc less consoles.

If games were already pushing the limit of the PS5 it would make sense. The first party games are not being limited by the hardware, and like half of 3rd party games are still being released on previous generations.

I'm a huge Playstation fan and was excited for this, but £700 for ray tracing and sharper graphics that 99% of gamers won't even notice!? I'll stick with my current PS5 thanks Sony..! 😁

At least Switch 2 isn't gonna let us down! :)
