Putin says Russia technically ready for nuclear war

In another round of nuclear sabre rattling, Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned the West that Moscow is technically ready for nuclear war. Putin gave an interview to state TV just days before a presidential election in which he is expected to win with a vast majority. Dasha Chernyshova reports from Moscow.

Met a Russian girl (who is unfortunately NOT hot; she is just blond in a very bland way.) She is ethnically Russia, but she used to live in Eastern Ukraine. Interestingly enough, her family were actually REFUGEES who escaped UKRAINE to America in the 2010s. Her family came to US on tourist visa and then applied for asylum for ethnic prosecution. Based on what she told me: Ukraine nationalists were actually targeting and prosecuting Russian-ethnics in Eastern Ukraine for ethnic cleansing, and the attacks were violent. The violence started even BEFORE the Maidan Revolution, which was in 2014(?). However, the Ukrainian President before the revolution at least tried to protect Russian-ethnics.

She said that, after the Maiden Revolution overthrew the President who had "protected them", the new "Nazi government" refused to protect Russian-ethnics like her. The new Ukrainian government even encouraged the attacks. Due to the discrimination and violence, the Russian people in the area where she came from (forgot the name) actually WANTED to split from Ukraine and become independent, or join Russia or be annexed by Russia, or for Russia to intervened and invade Ukraine to help them. Anyway, her family fled Ukraine to the US. The US actually granted asylum to her family because her uncle was killed in an attack by Ukrainian nationalists.

She actually felt somewhat conflicted: on one hand, she believed it was the CIA and US State Department who have been backing and supporting those Ukrainian nationalists. She called those Ukrainian nationalists "Nazis", (and she liked to say German Nazi in World War II had killed many times more Russians than Jews, but no one ever talked about it.) She actually support Putin and Russia in this war. Her only qualm with Putin is that she believed Russia should have invaded Ukraine SOONER, and annexed what she called "Russian parts of Ukraine" SOONER, so more Russian lives could have been saved from Ukrainian nationalists and "Nazis" She blamed the US for provoking Russia into attacking Ukraine, and she only wished it had happened sooner before her family fled Ukraine.

On the other hand, the US had granted asylum to her family for ethnic cleansing and prosecution... but ironically for a situation that had been actually created by the US. So, she was angry at the US but also thankful at the same time. It was a difficult situation for her. Anyway, after having heard what she told me, I googled and did some research ... and everything she said checked out.

There is A LOT of information and nuances about this Ukraine war that have never been widely reported in the US and West... and likely in Singapore as well. That is how everyone was convinced/lied into thinking that Russian's attack on Ukraine was "unprovoked". IMO, if Ukrainian nationalists have been targeting and prosecuting Russian ethnics in Eastern Ukraine for violence and attacks for over a decade before Russia finally intervened, then Russia's reaction and invasion was not exactly, "unprovoked".

NATO is an alliance of small and weak countries. In the long history of Chinese, many small counties perished without even leaving their names in the history book.
NATO has made a big mistake by picking on Russia.

All nuclear powers are always ready. The question is at what point would Russia use them. I assume that Russia is no match against NATO so would not attack NATO nations. Assuming NATO troops were sent to Ukraine ! it may be that Russia would not use nukes till Russian territory itself was attacked or maybe tactical nukes from the get go to show how serious Putin was. I guess it would not be long before Moscow, Paris, New York Ect were nuked.
Russian politician Dmitry Medvedev said on 18.3.23 that the Baltics belong to Russia. Attacking them would definitely involve NATO and up the escalation ladder. Come a long way from the 2014 Ukraine coup.
