Another great video from my FAVORITE channel
Spring of 2019 I erased the lawn in my backyard utilizing free cardboard & wood chips. Growing lots of food & medicine. Love learning from you, so real & down to earth! Much appreciated from NW Arkansas.

Although I only have a small plot of land, the variety is limited, I don't keep I watch 98% of all the videos. Your knowledge is so extensive, your way of life so exemplary and sustainable. It is instructive, helpful and inspiring.

I smile to see how tough plants and people are in such cold conditions, Mr. Barehands! I am in 8b and probably overprotect certain plants . . . if only I had your knowledge and experience. The pomegranates you show are inviting, but I think if they could flourish and produce in my summer heat someone would already be growing them here. I remain touched by your beautiful approach to living.

Happy Holidays!, from dry Southern California. Not much rain in the southland, this year.

I did this and found rats dig down to the sticks and nest there just perfect where sticks create large enough void. North Texas. So frustrating dealing with rats

I hesitate to sell heeled in plants in the spring because there is no way of knowing if they survived.
Thoughts?

I have some Elderberry seeds stratifying now. I hope to have several successfully become plants. I really really need to get some Persimmon seeds.

Thank you for your video.
Now I am curious to know,
I have never seen a spade with holes in it, like the one you used in the video.
I would loved to know why. There must be s reason behind the use of those holes.
Thank You. 🌿💚🌿

When the weather starts warming up and you have not sold all your trees, do you just repot them?

Which variety of Pomegranates are hardy to your area? I've had Pomegranates die on me in zone 8a (then) now 8b).

Do little circle fences effectively protect baby trees? I heard that deer don't jump into small spaces.

Thank you for showing how to heel in. If you were to overwinter plants in a poly tunnel, where would you site it, somewhere with full sun or shady? I’m thinking that full sun would be too hot and might break their dormancy.

What advice would anybody have for peach trees that are still in large 3 gallon pots that didn’t get planted out this fall. I’ve had them in pots since spring waiting for a cooler season, then I had shoulder surgery and missed it. I’m all healed up now, butI’m concerned for these peach trees. We are in zone seven Oklahoma City and right now. They are in my poly tunnel without any protection other than that.

You call -16C cold? Blahaha! I'm looking at -40 this winter. But seriously, thanks for another great video. I totally plan to use your technique next fall.
