None more grey - 'The Anti-Theme' for REAPER 7

Показать описание
WhiteTie has just release a new REAPER 7 theme he's calling "The Anti-Theme" because everything is completely neutral and nothing stands out.
I get the impression that he doesn't personally like it, but I'm finding it actually works pretty well.

Is it actually one of the best REAPER 7 themes?

Give it a try, and let me know what you think!

Thanks for watching!

On Windows I use a customization package called Rectify 11 which forces dark theme to legacy UI elements like title bars, option menus, and standard dialogs like Run, Pointer options, and so on. It ties any Reaper dark theme together with its context menus, stock plugins, and tite/option bars

I really like it! It fixes a lot of the visual annoyances and inconsistencies of the default theme, giving it a more professional, zen-like look. But it keeps every bit of the UI in the same place, so it's great for learning Reaper.

Tried it, enjoyed it, went back to Reapertips theme. Thank you for the video, Jon!

I wish there was the option for a horizontal volume fader for each track in the track view. I have an older theme [ReaDef3mod] that has that feature, I like because it automatically sizes to the description bar, I love it for the live work that I do, I hardly ever use the mixer any more. Only problem is that it doesn't work with the Theme adjuster and of course, the Theme adjuster lacks that option.

Hello, ,
I would like to know how to change the color of the track and its objects when I enable it to record like at 3:47
Have you got a video for that ?

I was on reapertips for so long, finally one new v7 that I do like. There was another new one but it has some font problems in the transport.

Hi :) Thank you so much for your time in posting these helpful videos. It is appreciated very much. Sorry for posting this question here, but I have, I guess a dumb question, as I am sure practically everyone already knows the answer to it, but with me being pretty new to reaper, I am unsure as to how I reload my saved FX chains into reaper after a new install. Can I drop the file into "Userplugins".? Thank you so much for your help :)

I miss this same idea but for a light theme. People with sight problems often ask for a well contrasted theme (maybe even pure black and pure white?). Do you know any theme with these characteristics?

I love Imperial theme but it's strange on version 7, some visual issues with faders and the mixer panel is super huge, not for my screen 29 inch wide 20:9. For now I use Pauline clr which is somewhat grey also

I love it. I hate the overly digitally sharp colors most times

Hey John! Any chance on getting an 80% scale theme athat looks good for the ones still on 1366x768 ? As much as I like R7 theme its unusable for being too big, and the built in scaler doesn look very good.

how to add buttons for arm/unarm for all, sometimes I forget that the track below has many of the arm buttons still on, so items pile up on that track

How do we show the meter markings in layout A? I'm not a fan of C.

Can you edit the colors of individual controls easily ? If not, that's a bummer. Considering his immense talent shown in Stillwell plugins I had hoped he would release lots of Reaper Themes with his unique flair.
