Ooh, intersting! It makes sense that the fountains of the deep would cause volcanic erruptions. And then the ash from that blocking out the sun and keeping the ice from freezing. . . makes sense! But, I wonder, about how long did the ice age exist, and how long would that volcanic ash remain in the air. Wow, God's creation was able to survive through that ash? So awesome!

Hot oceans sounds like a mass extinction for marine life. It would also act as a buffer against an ice age. I guess volcanic aerosals cooled that too. I would helpful if you ran some thermodynamic math equations.

The bible says nothing about an ice age, nothing about hot seas, nothing about increased volvanic activity. This is appproximately as biblical as Star Wars.

We’ve had an ice age for millions of years. Since we’ve been pushed farther away from the sun after the Jurassic period we have had an ice age every 12, 000 years. There’s another one coming when the reversal happens.

Your implication seems to be that it was volcanic activity that resulted in warm oceans. That is obviously true; however it is also true that an immense amount of water trapped beneath the Earth's crust burst forth when "The Fountains of the Deep were Opened". The Oceans of the Antedeluvian World were considerably smaller than they presently are now. Much less ocean and more land mass.

The world Conjealed probably means the water turned to ice due to the wind blowing over and into the water.
Genesis 8:1
Then God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the animals that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided.
This time a wind was accross the earth not just the red sea.
Perhaps the waters receded because vast areas of seawater turned to ice due to the wind as in the red sea parting account but this time on a global scale.
And these days the sea ice is melting and the sea level is rising again and has probably been rising for ages given ancient submerged cities found off coastliness accross the world.
I suspect this may have been a major contributor to the ice age after the flood but its speculation on my part and needs more investigation.
