Inspirational exploration is the heart of Humanity. I always say we are living in the best days of science - an enlightenment that will take us all into a glorious age beyond our wildest dreams. Best of luck to all involved with Artemis!

I use to have dreams when I was a kid of flying in space. Some were scary, but were interesting. I have a vision of a base on the moon, that has massive gains, for the amount sent. I would like to model it sometime.
We need to use a moon base, to bounce off for more ambitious projects, like a space station, to make other space stations.

Bill Nelson truly made me excited and believe in the future of space travel. Although the Artemis launch was delayed today I’m looking forward to seeing it clear the tower for the very first time. To see the dreams of so very many become reality as space travel beyond the moon will become possible for the first time. However I must admit that when Bill Nelson was talking about China I cringed. Understanding that it’s the space race of our time, but if NASA reaches the moon first, more specifically the South Pole, will they claim the land for themselves? Will they share it with openly and freely with China? Or will the moon remain open territory for any nation of this world? Interesting to contemplate

I am fully against privatization in the space industry. The tax-payer is taken to pay for research and innovation and the private industry takes it and makes the profits with it with no return.

What I want is that NASA get the opportunity to license their research out to private companies to generate their own income making them independant from tax-money and the ups and downs in Congress. Congress works on a 2 to 6 year planning, projects like Artemis or Apollo need decades.
