Great to see the big smile on his face. Contagious. The true face of America.

Let’s hope this works. A lot of the engineers and scientists that were credited with taking us to the moon in the first place have either retired, or have passed away. We now have a new group in charge. Let’s hope they are as sharp.

Always remember - when you hear someone complain about the cost of the space program - this investment pays back more than double in advanced technology that makes us all richer.

Leland Melvin is my favorite astronaut! He's a Virginian and a dog lover ❤ I love his smarts and he's so nice. A great science communicator.

If you remember the Apollo program, this launch is basically an unmanned version of Apollo 8.

We need 24/7 live feed video from multiple angles inside and outside the space ship to and from the moon. FULL TRANSPARENCY since we’re paying for it

This is Science news coverage done right. Fairly lengthy, no deviations to anything political. Just purely about the Science

t'rump: "I should announce that under my leadership, we're going to send a man to the sun. Wouldn't that be great?"
NASA: "Sir, the sun is far too hot to land a spacecraft on."
t'rump: "Not if we did it at night."
NASA: 🤦‍♂

If we ever build a interstellar space craft it will either be from the moon (low gravity) or a large space platform
