Data Access and Visualization of Model Data at the NASA GES DISC

The NASA climate reanalysis dataset from MERRA-2 and the Land Data Assimilation System (LDAS) datasets, distributed at Goddard Earth Sciences Data and Information Services Center (GES DISC), contains numerous data for atmosphere, land, and ocean, that are grouped into 151 products. The data are available as hourly, daily (hourly time interval) and monthly files.

During this webinar we will showcase the L3/L4 Subsetter and Regridder which is a powerful tool for downloading, subsetting and regridding selected parameters by region, and time. In addition, the interoperable services, such as OPeNDAP and GDS are provided for remote accessing data via using applications such as Matlab, GrADS, R, IDV, etc.

Is there any possibility to get data product regarding fire from giovanni or from MERRA-2 in netcdf-4 or netcdf-classic in near future?
