Everything minimalist, classy, beautiful and light, except the TV @2:10 which is wall mounted and has the stand attached hanging beneath it lol . . . those stands are removable and not required for wall mounting haha!

I grew up loving and desiring the beneteau style yachts, but crewing on stripped out racing boats. It wasn't until I saw Toby here on the pogo 30 vid that I realized there is a whole middle ground that he described as "French camping" with some comfort but speed being the priority. It's my natural preference! This, the pogos, the JP54...

Great review YW (as always). I went on a TS42 and I think that might be my next boat (not for cruising but day sailing and racing). However, the hull was so thin I could see light through the fiberglass. I know fiberglass is clear in nature, but seeing light through the hull gave me pause! I hope they keep building these boats, but that they also take a bit more care in the fit and finish.

I sailed on one of these. It had a rotating (carbon) mast to always keep the correct angle of attack. I think we made close to 20 knots on a gennaker and mainsail. Awesome boat and the interior is well finished if minimalist. Made in a former Nazi submarine base in Lorient France...

The minimalist cabin is so superior, light, bright and spacious without all the bric a brac of all the other catamarans. You give up nothing here and gain a much more lively boat. As for the rudd

A little under for a minimalist (fibreglass and vinylester) 8 ton (Outremer 51 @ 13 ton) performance cruiser, stainless rigging, aluminum mast/boom, not bad... A little wavy on the interior fit and finish, and a bit sharp and pointy in the guest cabins, but if you don't care she would make a nice entry level performance catamaran.

Oh yeah. On the tiller of a 50 foot cat in ideal conditions could make one blackout with pleasure. Looks like fun without all the inconvenience of silly weight.

What would the land equivalent be? Racing motorhomes. This full carbon fiber motorhome does the quarter mile in...

Looks inside exactly like a Schionning and as a performance too

Using 70% Carbon Fiber only saves a ton on a boat of this size? So rather than weighing 9.5 tons it weighs 8.5? Then why bother with CF?

Speed is great but cruising is comfort. There needs to be better options to have both.

2:08 - The pedestal base is still attached to a bulkhead mounted TV? Really?!
