It's kinda interesting how people are quick to compare O&S to the Godskin Duo. While there are obvious similarities, O&S were clearly designed and balanced to fight as one entity in the first phase while the Duo are just two wholly individual bosses jammed together

I remember buying DS to get into the franchise, this duo was the ultimate suffering and learning experience. Died more than 100 times because im not a smart person, after beating them my perception to the entire game was changed entirely for the better, now I know why Dark Souls is a beloved franchise.
