The Ark of the Covenant has no purpose today. It was placed in the Holy of Holies and its purpose was to receive the blood of the sacrifice on the Day of Atonement. But Jesus caused the sacrifices and oblations to cease. When He died on the cross, the earth quaked and the rocks rent and the veil of the temple was rent in twain from top to bottom, thus making a permanent end of sacrifices. NO MORE SACRIFICES. After all, who would even think to mix the blood of the Only Begotten Son of God with that of animals, which can never take away sins.

The Ark served its purpose, and its purpose no longer exists. That's why God used the Romans to raze the temple to the ground, leaving not one stone upon another. NO MORE SACRIFICES! NOT FOR JEW, NOT FOR ROMAN CATHOLIC, NOT FOR ANYONE. Either one is washed in the precious blood of the Lamb of God, or he remains unwashed!

All the to do about the Ark of the Covenant is only a glaring proof of the abject lack of understanding in the world about God's plan of redemption for man. It is more than high time to put away such folly and comprehend that Jesus was the Lamb that God promised to provide for the sacrifice to end all sacrifices. Jesus is the ONLY Lamb that can take away sin. Jesus was the Lamb that God promised to Abraham and Isaac. And when Jesus was sacrificed for us all, God's plan of redemption was complete. That's why Jesus said, "It is finished".

Can you now comprehend how ridiculous and sinful it is to place so much emphasis on the Ark and on a "rebuilt temple" in Jerusalem? God no longer dwells in temples made with hands. We are now the temple of the Living God. We now are "living sacrifices", holy and acceptable to God. Jesus made an end of sin; made reconciliation for iniquity; brought in everlasting righteousness; and anointed the most holy. The 70th week of Daniel is OVER!

I don't believe God will allow the earthly Ark to ever be moved from its current location. Certainly God will not allow the blood of His Only Begotten Son to be contaminated by the blood of ANY OTHER SACRIFICES! FULL STOP! And if the Ark has no purpose, then there is neither any purpose for a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem. All that is left to do is for the Hebrews to receive their promised Messiah, Jesus, the one they wickedly slew 2000 years ago. God hasten the day!
