I bought myself a Beelink mini PC and I am completely happy with it! It runs three monitors with no lag. I am worried about the temps in the summer. It's my work pc and I work in a garage with no a/c.

I'm planning on getting a beelink mini pc but after seeing this, it makes me wanna mod mine in the future after i get it. probably put a bigger fan on it. but that's just me. go big to make things run smoother, but i was gonna make it my dedicated streaming pc for the most part. you definitely got a new subscriber. i honestly enjoyed this, extremely inspiring.

Shmear on a raw die has always been my technique also, it's just not worth it to chance any die area left uncovered. I would ditch the thermal pads and go thermal putty like Upsiren UTP-8, you will get a better thermal transfer. Also, using a graphite sheet instead of tape for the fan/heatsink seal can bridge the thermal interface from the fin stack to the metal on the top of the fan. I think the additional heatsinks are going to do more to keep your VRMs cool rather than the APU, which will help with sustaining extended boost clocks. For example, on my cheapo HP Ryzen 3500U laptop the VRMs overheat before the APU ever could.

As I understand these chips have target of 95*C or this one perhaps 90*C, real indicator is W and frequency, stability of clock speed - not jumping up and down to much under steady load.
