Just to clarify, they don’t automatically put the higher double cover grade as the overall grade. Most often, if the outer cover is better yes it happens (because most of grading is the cover, as often times the interiors don’t have issues). But it can happen that you have a 5.0 cover but because of staining or something else inside, the whole book is brought down to say a 4.0-4.5. And if said book was a double cover, you would still see the outer cover graded in the fine print as a 5.0 but the overall grade would reflect the staining inside

Always interesting to see what you pick up Gary. Thanks for posting. Personally, I found little of interest with the exception of maybe 5 books. Total price paid for the whole lot (IMO), less than $600. Best to all.
