Do not buy the Milwaukee M18 mower

Milwaukee mower consistently fails. Do not buy this $1000 brick. Fresh batteries.

I just got one of these yesterday, and it was doing this. I called Milwaukee this morning, and they're sending me a new one. It's a known issue with the safety bar: basically it goes down too far into the slot and trips a sensor. Guy told me to wrap some electrical tape around the section by the power switch and use the mower while I wait for the replacement. I did just that and was able to mow my entire yard without it turning off once. Best thing about all this? He told me to keep the pair of batteries when the replacement comes in. Love Milwaukee customer service! 😍

I got mine yesterday. Cut right through the 24” tall grass I’ve been neglecting to mow in the ditch. Left the mulch plug in and no problem. Took a couple passes but much less frustrating than the gas mower that dies every two feet. Had enough juice left to trim 2 acres before mowing with a ZT. Sorry you got a bad one.

My mower is a beast.
Instead of saying to not buy it because yours is defective, you should do a warranty claim and see if it’s your specific mower or not.

Milwaukee is really good about honoring their warranty.

Im not trying to be a jerk but I'll keep using my honda gas mower. At least I can get it fixed if needed. When a battery one fails were do you take it.

Charge them? I haven’t had a problem with it even running smaller batteries.

Best mower I’ve ever owned after a couple years use so far.. tons of power and the rear side discharge is perfect when my backyard is overgrown as hell cuz I can’t get out to mow during the rain in spring

I just bought one I absolutely love it would never go back to a gas mower. Mine works fantastic

Crazy how people applaud companies for fantastic customer service when you should not have to reach out to them in the first place. SMH. Love Milwaukee for their innovation but I’m not onboard with them yet.

I have a milwaukee battery string trimmer works great. But i got honda gas mower

Brand new right out of the box…exactly as shown in the video. I should have gotten an ego, my second (until now) choice, but they had a deal and I got a good price on a blower and string trimmer. I’ve had it exactly 6 hours.

Mine did the same thing played around with some stuff I held the button down while I cut for a little bit and let it off and it seemed to work but I'm definitely bringing it back and getting another one

Easy Fix. (Not sure if it voids warranty) you'll need to Open it up, underneath the Battery compartment Milwaukee did a piss poor job on the connections... that's your problem!

This happens every once in a while to these for some reason. It’s the motors load sensor that’s bad.
