It's been requested several times, so here's a quick tour through our Morton Buildings farm shop that we had built in 2013. Sorry about the sound on this one, I had a case on my GoPro and for some reason it messed with the sound.

You should do an updated shop tour with stuff that you have finished and changed

My grandpa used to have a small beef operation near Warba, Minnesota. He retired and got rid of the cattle when I was pretty small. My father and I kept using the land to make and sell hay for most of my school-age life. My dad still sells square bales, and I take vacation to help him with that. I live in Illinois now, and am involved only in the transportation of ag products, but at harvest time I love to go out and photograph equipment and people out harvesting.

I just want to say, you have an incredible operation.

Farm owner from Thief River Falls, MN. I used to farm but now I sit on my deck drinking beer and looking out over my plantation while the peasants do all the work.

Nice shop! Now I know where I can bring my snowmobile to work on it.

If your wife kicks you out of the house you can always sleep in the bedroom in the shop.

Retired farmer from North Central Iowa. My son now operates the farm, he is the fourth generation of our family to farm the land. My grandfather started farming it with horses many years ago! Enjoy your channel My son and I both watch as time permits.

We are currently harvesting right now, we got 500 acres of beans off during the past two weeks with 2 6088 case ih combines both 40 foot drapers heads, 2 grain carts both on 340 magnums and 3 grain semis. We tried to get anhydrous on our corn around normal time but it was too wet during the spring so we put 28 on our corn really late and with 750 acres of corn it will only average about 120 bushels per acre. Luckily we had 1300 acres of beans out so thankfully we got more beans than corn.

I am not a farmer on any standards and my mom is very non gmo organic person and you’ve made me realize that gmos aren’t bad. I never knew what drain tile was before you told me. I’ve learned a lot. And you make it very interesting. You’re very relatable. Thank you for the good videos Zach.

I'm hoping you remember me from past videos but I'm a farmer from Michigan and make videos too. We just finished off all of our beans and only have beets and corn left. Good luck this fall! (P.S. I liked your editing in this video!)

I'm from Croatia. Not a farmer but always dreamed about that. My uncle is a pig farmer, has quite a big farm for our small country standards. I will never forget spending 12+ hours helping him with the wheat harvest, balling and manuring the harvested fields during my summer break in the high school. That was definitely one of the best memories in my childhood! Anyway great video and all the best to you and your family! Cheers

I'm surprised at the number of comments. I grew up on a farm in NW Iowa. Apparently, my grandpa born in 1875 farmed with horses, and maybe my dad when he was young, but later used implements. My dad would never allow me to drive the tractor. I thought it was discriminatory, and now that he's gone, I won't get the chance to drive a tractor with him as my brothers did. In Spring, my dad would sheer sheep by hand. That was hard work. In Summer, he baled hay, asking strong men neighbors to help. Not an easy task to continually lift the heavy bales onto the flat bed. I appreciated the work he did. He was also a carpenter, constructing and repairing farm buildings. One of my brothers still lives on our family farm, growing corn and soybeans as crops, and also raises animals. TY from Florida.💌
