Maverick has been on fire lately, completely proving the doubters wrong (myself included)

Unless Aprilia's usual reliability issues struck again, imo the Sunday's race is a good chance for Maverick to collect his first victory on that bike based on his sprint race performance here in COTA.

Though it should be noted that Marc and/or Martin has a chance to score a feature race win too despite COTA is usually one of the "Anti-Ducati" circuits in MotoGP.

1 - no one wanted to ride Aprilia a few years ago
2 - Aprilia reaped the benefit of having Vinales in the team after his contract termination with Yamaha. Look at Yamaha now..hahaha
