Thanks for the advice! I am a senior crafter/sewer moving from a cluttered
3-bedroom house to a 1-bedroom in a retirement community while healing from a broken leg! The end result will be worth it and make my daughter happy, but, oh, the journey! I love your videos!

OMG! You must know me. I've been trying to declutter. But I end up with so many more piles. Lol anyway it's on hold since I dislocated my shoulder. Great advice.

My pantry is NEVER going to be Pinterest worthy. I used to be a sales rep for a military grocery store & my first job was stocking shelves there. I don’t get taking the food out of the boxes to put it into clear containers before using. I get opening pasta & putting what you don’t use into a clear container. But not before I use it. I just have the pasta boxes stacked in FIFO order or by date. I haven’t purchased things to hold my cans. I don’t use many canned items, except cream of chicken soup. For that I use an old 12 pack soda box & rotate the cans by date. I buy them when they’re on sale & stock up, the dates are usually good for a year. I do have some baskets that I have snacks & bags stacked in but for the most part, I’ve accepted that I’m not going to have a Pinterest worthy pantry but as long as it works for me…that’s all that matters.

Decluttered kitchen & put it in living room to sort through. Clutter bug ID: ladybug. I am either perfectly organized or have a hot mess to go through.

Great tips thank you Cas! I used to definitely sort into piles. This one made me laugh. This was me! 🙋🏻‍♀️ You have taught me through your videos/podcasts not to do this. Incredibly helpful! We should learn this stuff in high school. 😅 if only!

Thanks so much Cas! You have really helped me learn to let go, give it away and throw it away! I remember my son helping me put clothes in the dryer. He pulled out my beloved sleep shirt full of holes, and asked what it was? The look on his face told me it was trash! We had a good laugh, and I threw it away! Keep being awesome!

We didn't declutter before we moved. Now, 3 months in and decluttering/unpacking into bigger home, but fewer nooks to store stuff in. Thanks to your videos, it's getting easier.

During COOVD when Australia was locked down for months and months I started to clean for three minutes every hour.

I've done each one. Multiple times. I did learn a couple years ago to NOT by containers before I know what I needed. I was decluttering my pantry/utility closest and found a lot of containers I never used or will use. I ended up giving them away.
