I bought my nephew a fishing pole for Christmas years ago.

Opened it a asked me what it was.
I told his father that he needed to get his boy out of the house.

Anyways, here is a brownie recipe.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 F (175 C) and grease a baking pan.
2. Melt 1 cup butter, mix with 2 cups sugar.
3. Add 4 eggs and 1 tsp vanilla; mix well.

5. Sift in 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup cocoa, and
1/5 tsp salt; stir.
1. Optional: add 1 cup nuts or chocolate chips.
2. Pour into the pan, bake 25-30 mins.
3. Cool completely, Cut into squares, and enjoy!

My youngest son brought his girlfriend (now wife) he met in the city to our farm years ago. First time she had ever left the suburbs. Just completely out of her element. Being near a group of more than four trees spooked her and made her question her life choices. While showing her around the property, we came across a box turtle on the trail that had went into its shell. She didn't see it, wouldn't have even known what the hell it was anyway. I asked her to pick up that rock and pointed at it. She went and picked it up, thought it was interesting, looked at it, had absolutely no idea what it was. I thought she was messing with me, it didn't even look like a rock. As we were walking back, it started coming out of its shell and she noticed it and passed smooth out. Feinted in the middle of the trail. I thought the turtle killed her. We laugh about it now but it was a bit excessive.

She saw a “burl.” It’s part of the tree that becomes damaged. Sort of like a blister or cyst to us. Well burls are extremely hard to find and are extremely expensive because once you cut into them they have beautiful designs and people like to use them for furniture.
She could of made a lot of money

That’s called a tree burl, in which the grain of the tree does not follow its normal path. Woodworkers use these to make cool looking bowls and others wood products. They make for a unique wood grain pattern
