This footage is from Mono Lake, California. It was old footage that the owner re-examined after years of dormancy. He had previously seen the creature when first viewing the film, but didn't pay much attention to it until later.

This is at Mono Lake near Lee Vining Ca. and this is straight down from the main visitors carpark. It's a huge being right at the end ducking behind the rocks.

I finally saw it. It took about six or seven times going through and following directions. Directions weren’t very good. There are two bushes or trees in front of some rocks. The rocks look to be 60 feet away from the camera. They are to the right of your screen. It is towards the end of the video. The video moves to the right and as it does a top of a tree appears in the frame. The camera continues to move right and you will quickly notice that trees are beginning to become abundant. Right after you notice that, look for two trees in front of some rocks- in the lower half on the right of your screen. . The Sasquatch walks from the right to the left, from one tree behind another. It’s very fast. The Sasquatch is reddish brown.

Wat I like about this footage also is that there is a genuine reason for it, capturing the family first, and then a very natural horizontal level scan shot across to capture the beauty of the water, environment n nature etc! That is EXACTLY how i wud film it to capture a memory!!! Modern sightings are detached from any other witnesses or reason for filming most times so are Suspicious to is a very convincing sighting that seems very accidental....🤔

I live on the Western Slope Sierras on the Sonora Pass. When I first moved here there were reports of sightings in the local area. But then we had the Rim Fire in 2013 and the sightings stopped and started shortly after on the Eastern Slope and near Mono Lake. I think the severe droughts and wildfires we had for those years pushed them to the eastern side. I also come from Oregon and there were a couple of incidents where they would be spotted on the Southern Oregon Coast years ago digging for clams on the beach in the middle of the night. They were only noticed if the moon was full and bright enough. Coming from the slopes of the Coast Mtns in Oregon, I've heard so many stories from ranchers and hunters that they are just like bears and cougars in the forests.

This is one video that’s actually believable. The video was taken at Mono Lake in 1991 on VHS recorder. Then it sat in their home for 17 years until a family member watching it spotted the unknown creature. If it was a hoax they certainly had a lot of patience to wait 17 yrs before showing it. Black bears do live in the Sierras but around Mono Lake the largest predator is Mt Lion.

The really creepy part is that it looked like it was looking at the kids and their mother. And was headed in that direction when it ducked behind the rocks!
