In the south, we use yellow mustard on our hot dogs. And you usually get a slaw dog OR a chili dog, but not both on the same hot dog. And most people down south use mustard and ketchup. I've never heard someone around here asked for Brown mustard. And almost everyone uses relish on their dogs. To each his own, but if you're going to do regional hot dog recipes, try to get them correct.

They have some great vegan smokies/hotdogs you can go with but a good beef, turkey or pork dogs of good spicy quality is what I like. But its the toppings that make this great meals plus its a meal in your hand that fits in your mouth. lol You can make your own siracha/mayo or add things to your relish like onions or tomato fresh green chili's etc....

Never put ketchup on a hotdog in Chicago. They’ll judge you and make snarky comments about it. Even if ur at Costco and it’s basically the only condiments they offer besides onions and mustard.
