I want one. Although, I haven’t used IR for any of my WLED setups yet, other than testing it just to test it with a very limited IR remote I had on hand, I just recently got a Wiz remote after ESP-Now was integrated into V.0.15.0. The Wiz remote’s cool being ESP32, so it doesn’t need line of sight, but, functionally, the remote itself is pretty limited to I/O, only 4 presets, and only, like, 6 steps of “dimming.” So, I’ve been leaning towards IR, with a better remote, for a project and I don’t know that I’m a fan of the surface mount IR receiver- putting it in a weatherproof box I think would be kind of tricky… Maybe a couple thru holes or larger pad to extend the IR outside of a box?
