Yeah I'd love to cook with those oils, problem is that it's too expensive for me to afford them

Seed oils oxidize at room temperature. They oxidize in your body and produce inflammation. That goes for avocado, too.
Olive oil is only healthy as long as you don‘t heat it.
Only good fats for cooking are coconut oil, butter, ghee, beef fat.

Sir,
Peanut Oil (Cold pressed) is very good oil for daily usage. Please double check your analysis.

We have been cooking with palm oil and peanut oil forever in Africa, and we are fine. No one is cooking with olive oil and coconut oil, let alone avocado oil. We eat avocado, though

We in India have been using groundnut/peanut oil for generations. We use coconut oil in parts of South India, apart from these we use mustard oil, gingelly oil and ghee. Olive oil doesn't have a high smoking point. The rest of the oils are not suitable for our kind of cooking or taste. One of the best cooking medium is ghee.

You should never cook with extra virgin olive oil. It is made to be used as is, absolutely not heated.

You also forget to mention that those healthier oil cost really expensive to the point normal people can't afford it, I'm fine as long as it isn't a gutter oil 😂

Double check your analysis- olive oil has a low smoke point and releases harmful compounds when used in high heat cooking- research on the healthy use of coconut oil is conflicting (though it has a significantly higher smoke point) from a food scientist 👍🏼

Sunflower oil is the best on open flame and will not turn vegetables black and also doesn't get rancid plus very healthy to eat cook and great for highblood pressure. Over salads, too.

What about those people who can't afford to buy those oils? Any alternatives?

We’ve been cooking in CANOLA OIL forever! Nothings wrong with us, everyone’s just fine. As other oils are too expensive…. no one can afford. Thanks but we’re ok 👌🏻

You forgot sunflower seed oil, which is probably the most used oil, apart from olive oil.

Sunflower seed oil, if not overused, is actually better than the good oils you mentioned. The trick is: if it gets burnt, throw it away (in the proper container, not the drain).

Simply say don't use cheap oils, go for the expensive oils.
By the way I have been using cold pressed canola oil for deep frying and it works well for me.
For curry, I stick with mustard oil and garnish with cow ghee .
For stir fry, salads and marinating, virgin olive oil.

:) i consume mustard oil. I have never got any kind of health issues. (Moderation is required tho)

My grandpa eats this mustard oil.

Olive oil is for dressing or drizzling only - never heating and definitely not deep frying.

Extra virgin olive oil burns at lower temperatures than normal olive oil as it is from the first pressing. It is only for salad or drizzling over after cooking.

I cook with ghee. It tolerates higher temps very well. All of the taste of butter without the milk solids that cause butter to burn easily.

I grew up on lard for frying. We suffered no ill effects.

Don't worry, folks. In ten to twenty years more studies will be published that will say the exact opposite.
