This looks cute!! it definitely has the trademark designs of recent Pixar (turning red and Luca) with the round faces and big eyes, and the backgrounds in space look absolutely gorgeous, with charming character designs. Imma keep my eyes out for this one.

Uh, did anyone else notice the giant wave stuck in suspended animation right before Elio got abducted by aliens? I think the writers are implying that Elio was about to be killed before the aliens intervened and he was trying to talk to his mom one last time. Looks like this scene more or less sums up their relationship as mother ans son, and it's not that great. 🌊

That circle symbol, 0:16 seconds in, it's cybertronian, it's on one of the Golden Disc from Beast Wars! Or if you have The Ark toy, it's one of the toy gold disc, it's an EXACT MATCH!
