@fabric121122 the 2.8ghz and 3.0ghz cpu in a dell 5150 can both run and play 720p videos fine, but they can not edit 720p videos for a youtube channel and that's what this video is about, the 2.8 & 3.0 just don't have the power it takes but the 3.8ghz can. 1080p editing will need a quad core pc tower to go to an even higher level.

@fabric121122 hi, I would always recommend a quad core tower but, if you only have a single core 5150 the cpu in this video is the fastest one, the bad thing is the cooling fan on the cpu will turn on more often and run faster on running higher level task and some people don't like that noise.

Unfortunately it is a Motherboard Micro-BTX was made that only 1 year younger the Intel Desktop Board DG965MQ I do not know if it's to upgrade to it in 5150 but he is no longer manufactured in 2007. Thanks

Can I add an aftermarket heatsink for the CPU? We have the same case and essentially we have the same fan and I don't like how it makes a ton of noise.

@viciadoemlinux sorry I'm not really sure with the Micro -BTX ? the 3.8GHz is the largest that I know.

is this still the best processor too put in the 5150 mines 2.8ghz and its really slow i need a better one which would u recomend these days, mines a pentium(R) D CPU 2.8ghz with 3gig ram. i want the computer fan too be quiet

If you have a seperate device, then we can skype, you just need to be able to enable video, im 12, and have been working with computers for years, i would have already disassembled and fixed my mother's Toshiba Satellite L305 if the battery screws weren't stuck, and i sure as hell am able to teach you how to replace the graphics card in a desktop.... and also am able to teach you how to put a better processor in it.
