Have done all of that only works sporadically. Very disappointed in this feature on the Samsung flagship phone. Previously had a Galaxy S8+ and everything worked.

This is not true. I have the setting on, it doesn't show me the text messages on the lock screen. This is just a blatant lie. I don't understand why I can't find a set of instructions that actually works. Why are you guys always lying about how to do things on your phone? I don't understand. It's so frustrating. I follow the instructions exactly, and they never fucking work. So frustrating. I wish there were a way to actually do things on these phones, but every single set of instructions to do anything at all doesn't ever fucking work
