How To Show/Hide Caller ID Phone Number On Samsung Galaxy S23's

Typically, when someone calls you, you can see their mobile number if it's a new number or you haven't saved the number. For whatever reason, you might decide to hide your caller ID number from people.

If you hide your caller ID, whenever you call someone, they'll see the notification 'Unkown number' or 'Private number' calling. You can enable or disable this setting on your Samsung Galaxy S23 phone. This also works with the other Samsung S23 phones; Samsung Galaxy S23+ and Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.

How To Show Caller ID Number On Samsung Galaxy S23 / S23+ / S23 Ultra
Open the Phone app
Tap on "Keypad"
Tap on the three dots at the upper right corner
From the menu that appears, tap on "Settings"
Scroll down and tap on "Supplementary services"
Tap on "Show your caller ID"
Tap on "Always"

There's the "Network default" option. This will automatically use the network available to either show you the caller ID or not.

I have the Samsung Galaxy s23 Ultra, I cannot find how to hide my phone number from showing up on other people's IDs when I make a phone call. The step that you showed is not coming up on my phone for some reason, is there a reason why?

Is MY Caller ID my phone number on other people's devices or other people's number on my device? I never see who is calling or who called, I've always had visual voice mail and never had to call and listen to voice mails and I've never once had to set this up, it's always just worked like that with every phone I have used I have never had such problems with a phone as I have with this Samsung. It constantly has notification sounds for no reason and makes no sound for calls and texts. I got a new phone, a new carrier and a whole second set of apps thanks to Samsung and I don't know who to blame or what was a carrier service, what was Android, but I never gave one single thought or care to the phone functionality of my phone and now none of it functions.
