You can order a second failover PSU from Uiquity for that unit. I saw that on another review. It doesn't have to be kept hot Plugged. Its switched internally.

In my case I am required to keep my ISP's router active and available for access for software updates and link testing. So, that forces me to use the dream wall as non-router configuration. If my ISP router is in passive mode, they can decide to change my account as a business account at three times the residential price.

So dcan you still use your ISP's router as the primary router or do you put it into passive mode? Essentially turning the dram wall into a ig, expensive POE Wi-fi access point.

Drives me nuts, i posted on the community forums but this was supposed to have a removable plate for the network cables so you could run them thru the back, they have instructions but either my dreamwall didnt come with the ability to they removed the functionality all together.

The Dream Wall supports LAGG? I've been thinking buy one but I need to put some ports with Link Aggregation, but Dream Machine Pro I cannot use LAGG only in ubiquiti Switches, but IDK if Dream wall can do that.

How the noise? Do you advice mounting on a visible wall at home or in-wall?
Do you notice any noise at all, even if small?

I have a udm pro with 8tb for my protect cameras. Doesnt look like these things have a drive bay for hdd?

which power consumption does your udw have at normal operation? I only found the max value of 532 W and that would be quite a lot...

A THOUSAND dollars and they cant even put a 2.5" drive bay? I really love the aesthetics of this thing and wanted to buy it but no drive bay and useless "redundant" PSUs killed it for me. I went with the UDM SE. Much better bang for buck in my opinion. Smaller POE budget, less ports and no built in WiFI, but hell you can get a UDM SE, U6 Enterprise AP and a Lite 16 port POE switch and still come in 23 bucks cheaper than this thing. Pricing for the dream wall just doesn't make sense to me unless you want or need that form factor.

I wanted to learn the features of the Ubiquiti Dream wall but the background "music" in this video was too distracting. Please consider removing the music for videos of this type - in other words, videos in which it is important to concentrate on the monologue.
