I feel like some parents just use their children as agression relief and then call it strict parenting. Like if your child accidentally scratches the car, pay with their own money then what would be the excuse for yelling at them? They cover the cost, it was an accident, you're just looking for excuses to yell at someone.

It’s not a “non-strict”, it’s a mom. Mothers like this are the ones who raise good kids. Not strict moms. They may raise good kids, but their kids would usually hide them this type of things. I’m glad my mother is like this woman, that’s why I almost tell her everything I do, because I’m not scared to tell her anything.
