This video continues with the concept of using the formula for area of triangles to find a missing side length or height of a triangle.

The strategy for these problems is to set up an equation using the area formula and the missing side length or height. Once the equation is solved and an answer is found, the result can be checked by plugging the base and the height back into the area formula to make sure that it matches with the given area.

The general formula for finding the area of a triangle is to multiply the base of the triangle by the height and divide by 2. Triangles take up exactly half the area of a rectangle that can be formed around it.
