Jimin even went on a super extreme diet in BT'S' rookie days, when they just debuted Jimin used to eat only once per 10 days because he wanted to have such a good shape in camera.

Like just 1 meal in 10 days, the other 9½ days he just drinks water... I can't imagine how torturing it was 😭

Keep in mind this was during pre-debut where they have to work so hard to prove themselves worthy to debut. Momo is the main dancer of Twice. Whether she creates choreography, helps the choreographer teach and create moves, helps her fellow members and other trainees, Momo is constantly dancing. Dancing burns a whole lot of calories, you will be very tired, hungry, and thirsty at the end of the day. And to undergo rigorous training while only having a cube of ice in a day is extremely dangerous.

Just for reference:

IU: 515 calories
Somi: 300 calories
Momo: (the most dangerously) 0 calories, because the ice is just frozen water technically
Jimin: it depend on the quantity and portion control of the food eaten, but judging by the restriction in his diet and how much weight he lost, let's assume it's no more than 400 calories.

I am a fan of IU and I gain more wait in my school days so I try IU diet i take apple and sweet potato correctly but i don't like milk shake so I replace 2 egg and it's really works but when we take regularly sweet potatoes for lunch it cause little vomiting sense and you need to do walking for 30min and it's really works, and you can see your result in 10 days it's shows your inch loss...if you really want to loss weight you can do this and you can take your fav food in weekends, after you eat your food you can minimise the calories with hot water.

Everyone, all of these diets are extremely unsafe and will ruin your metabolism. All these diets are extreme restriction, you could will eventually pass away if you limit yourself to these extents. Please don't try these, eat diverse food groups regularly and exercise for your diet plan.

IU's first diet is actually not that bad. The problem is that she had to continue this for many years. A protein shake can be really heavy, I remember having it for breakfast some months ago and i couldn't have lunch or snacks after that, it was so filling!
Had to eat a very light dinner :)
Doing this once in a while is alright, but continued periods will be unhealthy.

This just shows that people aren't meant to be as thin as many idols are forced to be... While there is nothing wrong with being skinny, if you are maintaining it by eating such small amounts (or nothing, in momo's case) then you will lose your health as well as the weight - and if you followed any of these diets for a long period, you genuinely could die. I feel so bad that these idols are forced to sacrifice their health and happiness for an unnatural standard, especially since their job is so active and they need so much energy to perform 😭

what’s crazy is there is something called fasting where you don’t eat anything for 3-5 days and you can totally survive, it’s purpose is to actually teach your body to live off burning the calories it has/burning fat. rather than expecting more food every few hours and only burning those calories
