I sailed with MSC Seascape in April this year and am going again in 14 days. It may well be that you get what you pay for, but we all have different approaches to everything, even our taste for food and entertainment. I have been on Cruise about 8 times I have only sailed with MSC, based on the price I am very satisfied, I am also not as demanding as many other people are so I have no opinion about other Cruise lines, maybe it is time for a change

Very interesting! Had pizza for about 11 days straight on my last msc cruise and never got sick of it. I loved the food haha. Different strokes for different folks.

Sailed with MSC Seashore (in Orlando) and we enjoyed it. We heard the food would be lacking so we brought our own herbs, spices and seasoning just in case (travel size). We didn't need it for the food outside of the buffet. We are not big drinkers and rarely do the excursions. We scheduled our own tour through the Tru Bahama food tour a couple weeks prior and they did not disappoint with the different local wine, rum and food tasting. The only complaint we had was the was the comedy show was not good, aside from that it was pretty good. We enjoyed the singer (I forgot her name) singing lots of Caribbean music near the front of the ship (deck 5-8). The ship was also incredible. We plan to go again in the near future. Knowing the shortfalls allowed us to adapt to this cruise.

I love MSC❤. Their ships' cabin space, posh decor, overall design and comforts along with the pricing structure make it my fave. I'm plant based and I love the food!! But I don't cruise for the food, I sail for the love of travel by sea. And... that gorgeous crystal stair😂!

Hello thank you in advance for any answer you can give us on every cruise I have been on when you mentioned about entertainment about the shows being short, there was always every night at least four different bars on the ship on Royal Caribbean Carnival and Norwegian Cruise Lines that had normally a Latin band in one bar the piano player in another bar a guy playing guitar music in another bar are you telling me that MSC did not have nightly entertainment in the bars music till midnight at least? Also what about the Disco wasn't there a disco with a DJ playing music from at least 11 to 3:00 a.m.? Thank you again for all your response that you can give me on this topic

I just returned from a cruise on MSC today. I and some of my fellow travelers felt that the dining on the buffet was really good! However the formal dining was subpar in our opinion. Oftentimes I would skip the formal dining and go straight to the buffet where I knew that I would be satisfied. I didn't have any major issues with the bar. You simply walk up and there's usually a young lady there or someone who will take your order and basically repeat it to the gentleman making the juices or drinks behind the bar. I would say that it took no more than two or three minutes tops. If that. Also there is a bar on the ship that has freshly squeezed orange juice which was absolutely delicious

I just came back from one of their cruises from Brooklyn. It was not this boat, but it was another boat. And we are planning ongoing on this boat. You can't always believe what you hear or see on. Facebook or YouTube viyes because I heard and saw a lot of bad negative For cruise And I had a blast it's the boat that starts with an m I forget the full name

How is the food compared to carnival? I've only been on carnival and I've always said their food is simply OK but nothing to write home about. I'm just wondering how much worse than what I consider OK msc is lol

Yes I'd love to spend less for my cruise but the food is also a very integral part of the experience. I traveled on RC and their food was really good. However the cabins were quite dated. Then we traveled on Norwegian. The complimentary food was... okish but I'd recommend their specialty dining. The service in both cruise lines was good but Norwegian had the best cabin experience (free laundry, a free speciality dining night, complimentary wine) when booking a balcony cabin made the experience sweeter 😅

So i needed to see this review because we were considering the Seascape this year. But sub quality food is non negotiable for me.

Do they have a lounge for dancing? If so, what kind of music do they play in their lounge? MSC is having a flash sale. I was thinking of booking four.

Thank you for choosing MSC Cruises. We know you have many choices when it comes to choosing a cruise line and rest assured you have undoubtably chosen the cheapest. This sums up MSC beautiful ships but if you want top notch food and service pay up on another line the food isn't bad the service isn't bad but compared to more expensive lines it is. That said my seascape cruise booked less than a month before sail date was about $500 cheaper than a comparable Royal cruise and $300 cheaper than Carnival.

You have confirmed what we have heard about MSC ... sad that they seem to not be improving after so many people have expressed their displeasure with them. We have been on NCL, RCL and Celebrity. We like Celebrity best in terms of food, ambiance and many other things. RCL and NCL has much more for kids and families to do. NCL has gotten to the point where they nickle and dime you for every little thing so we have stopped with them. We enjoyed much about RCL except the smoking was so overwhelming we cancelled all future cruises with them because our clothing reeked after cruising with them. Celebrity had no smoking in any common area and the food was the best of any line we had been on so we have stuck with them in the past year.
