I really want to see how some of these welding processes (mig, tig, stick, oxy-acetylene, etc) look in slow motion. You should reach out to The Slow Mo Guys or Smarter Every Day. Both channels have great high speed cameras and could probably get some really neat footage.

Did you go to you Pipeliner because your ArcOne Tank would not darken on the inverter? Looking to buy a new helmet and will be using an inverter might and hopefully eventually an inverter Tig. Thanks

I ordered one of these to arrive in a few days. Bought it for stick, for around the house, but now you got me interested in learning tig. That’s a nice weld and would be delighted if I could learn to do anything half as polished.

Everlast recommends a 17 torch; is that what you were using ? Any other recommended additions to this unit for someone that's just starting to learn tig.

I’ll have access to 220v and will be working on 1/16 to 1/4 thickness.

Bob, great test, but I have a question that is only partially related: How in the world can you grip the torch around the head without your hand melting off?? Is there something special about the gloves you were using? I realize that the test weld was only 2"-3" or so, but there's no way I could do that with my Tillman gloves & my WP17. You must be tough as nails.... ;) I would like to be able to hold my torch that way if there's something I'm missing. Thanks again!
