Everlast PowerArc 200ST Welder - Part 1 Unboxing

Needed a stick welder to help weld thicker mild steel (e.g., 1/8 inch and greater) compared to my Flux Core welder and decided on the Everlast PowerArc 200 Stick / Tig combination. This short video covers the initial unboxing and first attempt using the stick function using some Hobart 7018 1/8 inch electrodes.

Everlast sure does make good welders. Have a couple of them myself.

I've had great experience with my Everlast welders. My tip for anyone out there is always download the latest version of their manual. The one off of the internet is always much better than the one that comes with the welder.

I've been using this welder for years now and it's been flawless. Bought it as a temp until I had money for a better one and so far I haven't needed an upgrade. Highly recommend.

Very nice welder. Have fun with it. From what I have read this is a really sweet stick welder.

I would have gone with the 160 STH.. high frequency and foot pedal

Not sure where you are but there's a welding shop in Bethel that has classes. Go to the end of 302 and take a left and it's about a 1/4 mile on the right. What are you using to remove fumes? Never mind it looks like you found them.

I miss the little craftsman 110 I had many years ago. Got it on a truckload returns auction, paid $60.00 for it, because it had a shipping dent in one side. Was brand new in the box. Sold it 5 yrs later for what I paid. I digress...how much did your cost with delivery? Thanks Rick!
