Thanks, but could you please do an instructional on how you stop the gmail pop-up notifications that that tell you the action you just performed? On a computer they appear in a black box near the bottom left of the screen.

I have been floundering around the internet for 2 hours now, nothing.

this does not work on POP UPS for "try new Gmail" which never goes away no way to delete it --why does Goggle want to mess up what is working already???

Alerts are really advertisements/ stop these once and for all.
